Job Summary:

Wine Sellers, Lima's original wine shop, is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth store operations while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves sales, stocking, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining store cleanliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and eager to learn about our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers, providing knowledge and recommendations about products.
• Sales & Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently, handle cash transactions, and process lottery sales and exchanges.
• Inventory Management: Stock shelves with new inventory, replenish as needed, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure store cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 40 lbs regularly and assist with stocking and delivery management.
• Closing Duties: Perform end-of-shift responsibilities, including balancing cash drawers and securing the store.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale experience required.
• Knowledge of wines is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience with lottery sales is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Starting Pay: $12/hr
• Schedule: 4 PM -- 10 PM (Flexible availability preferred)
• Job Type: Full-Time
