PepsiCo North America Beverages Maintenance Planner in Lima, Ohio

Responsibilities The Maintenance Planner is accountable for reducing equipment downtime, loss prevention, and related site costs by driving the organization to a planned proactive state through the use of validated procedures. These procedures rely on the Planner to apply skilled competencies beyond the level of the technician in order to properly plan and coordinate manpower, parts and materials for their assigned areas of responsibility. The individual is the liaison between Maintenance and Operations; developing and maintaining appropriate job plans, records, and files to permit optimal execution and analysis of all planned work done. Primary Job Accountabilities: - Detailed job planning and preparation ensuring all work is coordinated on a weekly basis across all shifts in maintenance - This will be done through SAP, and it is your responsibility to work closely with the supervisors and parts coordinator to schedule the assigned work to the maintenance techs. - Keep track of maintenance tech's Kronos vs SAP labor utilization - Scheduling down day work for maintenance tech's - Scheduling weekly p.m.'s and work orders for maintenance tech's - Working close with parts coordinator on kitting and planning - Support parts coordinator with inventory parts management - Maintain Maintenance System (CMMS) database - TPM Pillar Support - HSE Program Elements Support - Resource Conservation Support Compensation and Benefits: - The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,000 - $67,000. - Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications - Technical experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent experience - SAP knowledge for scheduling - Ability to detail plan and schedule internal resources and contractors necessary to complete the required work. - Able to define and articulate plans and scopes; schedule, set goals, determine priorities, and meet target dates. - Strong competencies in technical knowledge and project management - Formal and hands on training in use of computer Microsoft Suite and CMMS - Good oral/written communication skills to include presentation skills - Good administrative and mathematical skills - Able to read blueprints and shop drawings Helpful Experience: - Ability to keep multiple jobs in controlled motion -simultaneously - Be a change agent in moving the Maintenance organization to a proactive status - Active participation in team meetings, note taking distribution, organizing and facilitating meetings, oral presentations - Achieving expected results without close supervision and delivering planning requirements to scope, time and budget.
