Proposal Manager

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager that will be responsible for proposal development, including maintaining schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and reviews, ensuring bid strategy implementation, ensuring compliance, resolving internal team issues, and providing process leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze RFP requirements and identify and coordinate all internal and external resources required for proposal completion.

  • Write, edit and design compelling proposal content that effectively communicates the company's capabilities, experience and value proposition to clients.

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency and compliance of proposal documents per client guidelines and RFP.

  • Support the interview preparation process, including creating presentations.

  • Write and edit project narratives, team resumes and boilerplate for proposal responses.

  • Management and maintenance of various marketing databases (projects, resumes, media, etc.).

  • Manages qualifications on vendor sites.

  • May also perform special projects and other reasonable business-related duties as requested and delegated by the VP of Estimating

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other relevant discipline required.

  • 5+ years of experience providing proposal management or coordination support in the A/E/C industry is a must.

  • Proficiency in the following software programs: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher), required.

  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator), required.

  • Customer Relationship Management (Cosential preferred)

  • Proven skills for design, imagery, video, infographics, and other graphic design elements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also functioning well within a team environment.

  • Knowledge of the AEC industry, including terminology, project types, and industry trends.

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, keen organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle competing priorities and tight deadlines.
