Estimating Intern - Summer 2025

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking an Estimating Intern to join our dynamic and energetic team. This position will work collaboratively with the Estimating Team to help with administrative tasks related to the bidding process, including specific pre-bid and post bid items.

What you’ll do:

Duties include:

• Working in a team environment with estimators, project managers, and executives to complete bids.

• Verifying plans and specs, as needed.

• Reading and reviewing bid documents and alert of clauses and requirements.

• Maintaining and completing accurate information about bid status and bid results.

  Who you are:

• Enrolled in a college or university

• Willing to work in a variety of roles depending on the needs of the department

• Solution oriented, problem solver with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude

• Organized and have good communication skills

• Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization

• Basic computer knowledge

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred

• Demonstrate genuine interest in the construction industry
