As the Sales Support you will play a key role in providing proactive support to the Area VP or Director to help facilitate new sales, management of contracted sales, customer experience scoring, and the internal management as the voice of the customer. You will be hands on in providing support to the business and you'll help support an experienced and highly regarded sales team. In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to shape processes, drive efficiencies and add real value to the sales team and customers alike. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Support an Area Vice President or Director in the day to day management of the customer base related to the following topics: Product performance issues returns from customers, process through Itron facilities, and return for use by our customers. Quality issues cited by our customer, manage and prepare the internal response and corrective actions (root cause analysis) Revenue Cycle Management Work with Area VP & internal sales operations team to assure forecasting, loading and customer delivery. Internal metric responsibility as it relates to revenue (PO's, pricing, distress PO's as an example) Conversion metrics as it relates to bookings. Customer Relationship management Campaign management of solutions/offerings Quoting and contract management Purchase Order management Creation of internal specification numbers Coordinating and gathering key information needed to run the business, e.g., sales forecasts, WIPS, ad hoc reports etc. Coordinating and running localised marketing activities, conference, and function management. Facilitating effective management communications to all key stakeholders within the business. Communicating with marketing and inside sales for lead generation activities. Manage data accuracy within SFDC. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or similar and/or relevant industry experience. 0-3 years' experience in similar type roles and responsibilities. Strong report writing and analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to travel 0-15% Preferred Skills & Experience Experience assisting or driving process improvement projects such as process redesign, system improvements and/or service reviews. Experience in dashboard reporting (Power BI) is highly desirable. Background in utility, telecommunications, or underlying technologies beneficial. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills. Experience working with and communicating with diverse levels of stakeholders. Key Attributes Understanding of manufacturing, forecasting, revenue planning, sales management tools as it pertains to energy (electric & gas) customers. Technology based background focused on innovative solutions Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing tasks, processes and controls that ensure accurate and reliable revenue generation and billing. Ownership of the processes to drive efficiencies. Location: This is a hybrid position that will be based out of our Liberty Lake, WA, Raleigh, NC, or West Union, SC office.
