Amphenol Network Solutions Inside Sales Account Manager in Liberty Lake, Washington

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for increasing existing customer loyalty for assigned accounts, by continuously strengthening existing relationships, providing best-in-class responsiveness and maintaining a high knowledge of customer approved (purchased) products and methods of doing business.  Account Manager proactively reaches out to new contacts identified within assigned accounts.

Must be able to learn and develop a knowledge of our products in order to provide consultative sales advice.  The Account Manager will be assigned key strategic accounts in partnership with outside sales and works independently with customers within a geographic region assigned to them.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner closely with the outside sales to support and expand share of wallet in strategic accounts.
  • Knowledge of all routes to markets assigned accounts use and support as assigned by sales management.
  • Knowledgeable on Amphenol Network Solutions product and solutions and able to educate and guide customers to the best solution for their application.       
  • Proactive outbound calling to assigned account. Contacts to promote product approvals, seek advance visibility of future project/needs, provide current lead time information and/or awareness of our brand.
  • Ownership, follow-up and teaming in identifying, developing, winning and supporting sales opportunities. 
  • Communication with the internal organization on market share wins, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback.
  • Internal account owner and liaison with Product Management, Operations, Quality, and Sales management.        
  • Provide support for customers on product demos, product selection, literature, and training.        
  • Assist in capturing and maintaining CRM contact database and account profiles.
  • Supports qualifying and/or referral of unassigned account inquiries to channel partner and/or internal business development team and methods.
  • Adoption, knowledge and use of available tools and business processes.
  • Potential for domestic and international travel.
  • Supportive of channel partners.
  • Flexible and adaptable in dynamic customer and market environments.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in business, marketing or technically related field and or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in outside and/or inside sales preferably in a manufacturing company
  • Able to make sound, business decisions and possesses solid sales judgment
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers and the Amphenol Network Solutions sales team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding technical product lines
  • Project management competence as related to customer projects
  • Able to strongly represent the Amphenol Network Solutions brand
