Title:
SharePoint Administrator
KBR is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) effort. The successful candidate will integrate with our government customers for the purpose of the development and maintenance of SharePoint sites and sub-sites in support of the Logistics Information Technology (LOG-IT) office. In this role, you will directly establish and support the structure of the SharePoint environment and support the organization and improvement of current content.
Responsibilities:
Develop, design, deploy, manage, and maintain web environment; Build and maintain SharePoint instances. Develop custom/tailored SharePoint workflows and data exports to provide maximum automation and availability of submitted data for reporting and metrics on all collected information. Help facilitate SharePoint adoption by end users. Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications. Manage structure and content, to include graphics, for collaboration artifacts and data repositories based on SharePoint and other web and collaboration technologies. Responsible for all site collections on a web application.
Provide online linkages among documents, web pages and SharePoint instances. Provide consultative website service to the customer. Ensure creation, upload, and maintenance of documents on SharePoint. Implement an architectural SharePoint solution for maximizing usability and enhancing user effectiveness and readiness. Evaluate utility of design, assess usability, and recommend/implement approved changes. Be familiar with the administration and configuration options available within SharePoint site collections and sub sites (web parts, content types, list, libraries, etc.).
Maintain, modify, and enhance customer collaboration capabilities and services . Identify, engineer and propose beneficial solutions and modifications for our customer’s SharePoint environment. Train end users on how to use sites and navigate their site by using views, metadata and filters.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a DoD T3 security clearance
Possess an associate’s degree in computer systems, IT, graphics or relevant technical area
Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience related to SharePoint development and administration
Knowledge and experience regarding SharePoint development, including technical knowledge to build, manage, and maintain collaboration artifacts ensuring optimal end user functionality
Proficient in developing both front and back-end SharePoint customizations (e.g. web parts, site definitions, custom fields, timer jobs, etc.).
Experience creating workflows, planning and creating of sites, site layout and site architecture design Ability to execute assignments with little supervision and actively participate in a collaborative team environment
Experience working in a SharePoint 2013 environment or higher
Experience in planning and execution of site/content migrations
This position offers a flexible workplace setting.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $68,000-102,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
