Robert Half Staff Accountant in Lexington, Massachusetts
Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become a part of our team. Located in Lexington, Massachusetts, the role entails a broad range of accounting functions, including general ledger work and transactional operations related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage general ledger activities.
• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Administer the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion.
• Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for accounting operations.
• Maintain and update financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
• Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger management.
• Ability to perform Month End Close procedures.
• Familiarity with NetSuite software.
• Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting tasks.
• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management.
• Knowledge of SAP and its applications in accounting.
