Job Title: Maintenance Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Engineering Technicians to support our production and facility maintenance needs. Our company specializes in the re-manufacturing of heavy equipment engines, transmissions, and powertrains. This involves disassembling old equipment, cleaning, repairing or replacing parts, reassembling, and painting to restore functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot CNC machines, Hot Tanks, HVAC systems, and plumbing issues.

  • Replace motors, troubleshoot electrical systems, and repair large bay doors.

  • Maintain and repair stamping presses.

  • Handle lighting projects and ductwork.

  • Perform machine maintenance, including hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.

  • Carry out facilities maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and boilers.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and machine maintenance.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, including 480v.

  • Skills in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and boilers.

  • Ability to replace motors, gears, pumps, and perform overall machine maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.

  • Open to considering mechanics from mining backgrounds.

Work Environment

All positions are on the 1st shift, working 10 hours from Monday to Thursday, and occasionally 4-6 hours on Friday. The work involves non-temperature-controlled environments and requires handling heavy equipment for disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and testing. Our facility is unique in its operations and provides a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
