We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager to oversee ERP technical operations, ensuring stability, availability, and optimal performance of Epicor ERP. If you have a knack for driving improvements and leading strategic initiatives, including our upcoming migration to the Epicor Cloud, we want to hear from you!
Take the lead in redefining work processes, and balancing customization and standardization while excelling in team development, project prioritization, and deadline adherence. Your role will be pivotal in aligning technical assets with IT and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the ERP team responsible for ERP development and maintenance, as well as EDI and TMS (Transportation Management System) integrations and their performance and maintenance.
Proactively analyze business processes and work with the business to align platform functionality with requirements.
Maintain an expert-level understanding of Epicor ERP, EDI, and TMS functionality and work with end-users to advance the platforms' capabilities to expand business performance.
Manage ERP-related projects to support business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with ERP, EDI and TMS systems, and guide other support staff members.
Evaluate, recommend, develop, test, and implement changes to current and future ERP & Logistics system requirements to meet organizational needs.
Ensure end users are properly trained on enhancements for all customer-facing platform changes.
Ensure client relationship and project success through a strong delivery focus.
Plan and lead project work at the strategic and tactical levels.
Collaborate with other departments to help evaluate business needs and align development work around needs.
Provide strategic vision, mentorship and recommendations based on business and technical drivers.
Provide proactive visibility and effectively communicate delivery targets, commitments, and progress.
Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable tools, with a proactive focus on reducing technical debt.
Identify opportunities for innovation and quality improvements.
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care, and concern with each internal and external customer.
Support the team in overcoming roadblocks and escalate as appropriate, to VP-IT.
Attract, mentor, and motivate staff to establish a high-performing team properly aligned to the organizations needs.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relative experience
5 years of professional IT industry experience in a manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge of Epicor ERP; BPMs, BAQS, SQL Servers, Integrations
Experience managing technical operations and development teams
Knowledge of EDI and TMS (Transformation Management System) integrations
Prior experience moving from on premise environment to a Cloud is highly preferred
Proven creative problem-solving ability and strategic thinking
Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Self-motivated and passionate about your work
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire operations teams through strategic thinking and innovation
Ability to coordinate resources outside of direct management to support strategies and initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a business audience
Proven track record of success leading an operations team in a dynamic, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to balance, prioritize and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex environment
Experience managing vendors and managed service/consulting partnerships
