Description

Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative in the hospitality industry, based in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will manage customer reservation requests, maintain accurate records, and resolve various issues over the phone.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and manage customer reservation requests

• Accurately maintain customer reservation records

• Provide support for inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer inquiries are resolved efficiently

• Utilize problem-solving skills to assist clients and hotels with issues over the phone

• Communicate effectively with all clients and departments to address client needs and issues

• Ensure accurate information input into the reservation system to meet client needs

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action for any issues

• Maintain a high level of punctuality and take ownership of assigned duties

• Work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and persistence.

Requirements

• Familiarity with inbound call center operations.

• Proficiency in handling both inbound and outbound calls.

• Demonstrated experience in call center customer service.

• Ability to effectively resolve customer service issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work in different shifts including nights and weekends.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proficiency in using computer systems for customer service.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong multitasking skills.

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service orientation and patience in dealing with customers.
