Goodwill Northern New England Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Lewiston, Maine
Description
Job Summary:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed to support service recipients.
Offer consultation and instruction in rehabilitation techniques to team members, service recipients, family members, payers, and stakeholders clearly and helpfully.
Evaluate service recipient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Represent the Agency in interactions within the Goodwill community and with the general public, aligning with our vision of creating thriving and inclusive communities.
Help further the organizational commitment to triple-bottom-line results by integrating social, economic, and environmental goals into your work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current and in good standing LCSW or LCPC with the state of Maine.
Prior experience counseling individuals with acquired Brain Injury is preferred.
Proficiency in using a PC, including e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft Office software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Successful completion of a criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with acquired Brain Injury counseling preferred.
