CNC Operator

Full Job Description

Company Overview: Neokraft Signs, Inc. is a commercially owned and operated small business serving New England and shipping to customers nationwide. We offer specialty construction services such as custom design, fabrication and installation of signage. Other services include project management, lighting maintenance and management, high-rise crane services and much more. With roughly 30 employees, we have a strong sense of community with all employees working together towards common goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Plans machining by studying work orders, shop drawings, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings.

Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock, and placing orders with purchasing department.

Programs router tables by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.

Sets-up router tables by installing and adjusting tools, and attachments.

Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.

Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.

Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to operate CNC mills

Great computer and technical skills

Good attention to detail

Strong team player

Must be self-motivated

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience operating CNC router tables in a production environment

This is a full-time position, non-exempt role.

Work location is 70 Commercial Street, Lewiston, ME.

Regular hours are Monday thru Thursday 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Pay range is negotiable and is based on experience and ability.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
