Title: Certified Professional Coder - Lewiston Office

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for using all diagnoses under ICD-10 and applicable procedures based on documentation reviewed for assigned areas of responsibility.

• Responsible for understanding all evaluation and management (E/M) codes along with understanding CPT codes for medical services and procedures.

• Abstract visit data for billing and data collection purposes.

• Report identified issues and trends to manager.

• Provides education and guidance to providers as it pertains to their documentation and coding practices

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Medical terminology and knowledge of healthcare operations required.

• Active Certified Professional Coder (CPC) standing required.

• Minimum of 2 years coding experience required.
