As a 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various machinery and equipment in our facility. You will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while minimizing downtime.

salary: $52,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct required Inspections buildings and equipment per PM program

• Conduct necessary repairs and maintenance

• Install equipment and appliances

• Follow provincial code

• Comply with all safety rules

• Keep an up-to-date maintenance log

• Respond to repair requests in a timely manner

• Follow verbal and written instructions from manager

• Collaborate with outside contractors to ensure all work is done efficiently and within budget

• Conduct routine inspections per PM requirements

• Perform PMs based on set schedules

• Provide input on company requirements

• Investigate and purchase required equipment for the sites

• Support the creation and implementation of PM programs for both internal and external maintenance staff

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
