Manufacturing Associate

Lewis Center, Ohio


1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm)

2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm)

3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am)

Hourly base rate, plus a $3 shift differential for working off shift.

 

Our unique chemical furnace plating and electroplating processes are used to create specialized polishing tools used in glass ceramics and metals. We have Maskers, Electroplaters, and Furnace Platers that work in our manufacturing departments (Industrial/Flexibles, Medical/Dental, and Aerospace). 

 

Maskers are responsible for precisely carving parts using designated tools.

 

Electroplaters are responsible for daily maintenance and cleaning of the tanks and fixturing. They handle all duties relating to processing of product and grit recovery. We have recently implemented a tiered (I, II, III, IV, V) growth program for all electroplaters.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a neat and orderly workplace.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate internal drive for results.
  • Prioritize and determine the appropriate order of tasks according to relative importance.
  • Comprehend and successfully follow documented procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
  • May have to operate an overhead crane.

     

Required qualifications:

  • No experience necessary and training will be provided, but experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Desire to share a positive attitude with the team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

     

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on occasion.
  • Sit and stand for 4+ hours throughout the day.
  • Willingness to follow company PPE standards to work with chemicals found onsite.
