The Moorings at Lewes is seeking a highly skilled Security Guard to join our team!

The Moorings at Lewes is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in Lewes, DE. We are looking for a full-time and a part-time Security Guard to join our team. Our Security Guards are responsible for the overall safety and security of the facilities and community.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to resident calls and requests.
• Respond to calls regarding the facility and determine an appropriate course of action.
• Respond to the fire alarm system, read panel, and take appropriate action.
• Respond to the emergency call system and administer first aid. Meet ambulance and escort paramedics into the building. Secure apartments of residents taken to hospital.
• Make rounds and check empty apartments.

{=html} <!-- --> - Become familiar with all circuit breaker locations. - Know how to shut down the sprinkler system and drain it. - Outside patrol making rounds during inclement weather for safety issues. - Cover concierge desk and duties daily. - Do wellness checks at the clinic after hours. - Issue lockers and assign auto ID tags to employees. - Assist the maintenance department when necessary. - Must be able to work off hours for emergencies.
