GBA Builders, LLC is currently looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager for U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) projects on various military installations. A thorough understanding and experience with USACE standards and RMS is required.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of the USACE Three Phase Quality Control System.
  • Interface with USACE quality assurance and technical engineering branch personnel on project specific items.
  • Schedule/conduct Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up meetings for every definable feature of work.
  • Utilizing RMS, track all submittals and RFIs.
  • Supervise technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
  • Review customer requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Achieve a Very Good or Exceptional rating on the quality control area of the CPARS Final Evaluation.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement.
  • Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood and carried out.
  • Document and remediate Quality deficiencies.
  • Communicate the projects quality status with Project Management Staff.
  • Maintain written documentation of all relevant discussions and interactions. with the client for future reference. Documentation includes emails to client, quality control checklists, and/or daily reports.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field from an accredited curriculum OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with USACE.
  • USACE - QCM Certification
  • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills (QCS, RMS, MS Office Suite).
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees and management.
