Aston Carter Contract Administration Manager in Lenexa, Kansas

Job Title: Contract Administration Manager Paying up to 150K/yr + 15% Bonus Potential

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Identify, analyze and summarize contract risk points as they relate to a wide variety of scopes of work

• Conduct complex contract negotiations with third-party customers

• Oversee the processing of contract documents to ensure that operations understand and authorize contract terms

• Initiate and oversee special projects in furtherance of operational collaboration and education

• Serve as the principal contract liaison between operations, corporate departments, and outside customers

• Plan, develop, and conduct presentations for training purposes on a variety of topics; both remotely and in-person at branch locations

• Supervise the work of others and mentor subordinate members of the department in accordance with their developmental aspirations and goals

• Develop and track key metrics in order to improve performance outcomes for the department

Qualifications

  • 6+ years or exp. with Contract Admin Management in the construction field. (10+ years if they are coming from manufacturing or engineering)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience leading contract admin teams of 4+ people

  • Experience conducting complex contract negotiations

  • Prior experience in the field of construction; law; risk management preferred

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.

Work Environment

On site every day at their office in Lenexa.

20% annual travel. Traveling to their other offices in the U.S. to help train the contracts teams in their different locations.
