Hiring Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

These openings are for Building 1. The role involves working in packaging to load and unload lines, performing visual quality checks, and labeling tubes/bottles. Contractors must be open to working in dispensing as needed. In the APR (Automatic Pour Room), tasks include making the media dispensed into petri dishes, which may involve seeing sheep's blood in bags and/or cleaning petri dishes. Responsibilities also include lifting, twisting, pushing up to 30 lbs repetitively, filling out paperwork throughout the shift, and performing basic math with a calculator. Additional duties involve packing, quality assurance, production, and documentation of packaging procedures.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LENEXA, Kansas.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled with smells of yeast/vinegar in Building 1. Certain areas are loud, and earplugs are provided. The test tube area is particularly loud due to the glass tubes/bottles. Team size varies from small groups to individual work. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts (nothing offensive), with scrubs encouraged. Hairnets, safety glasses, and surgical face masks are provided and required
