SEASONAL CEMETERY WORKER

PAY RATE: $13.66 per hour

SCHEDULE: To Be Determined

DEPARTMENT: Cemetery

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of:

• Cemetery Grounds maintenance
• Irrigation Systems
• Light and heavy equipment operating
• Great attitude and able to communicate with citizens in a respectable manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills.
• Including but not limited to general landscaping and lawn maintenance and irrigation work.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate.
• Ability to learn to operate and keep up with maintenance on equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers and the public.
• Must pass a back ground and drug test.
• Must be 16 years old or older (Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid driver's license).
• *If some of these qualifications are lacking, we are still interested if you are a hard worker that is willing to learn and be an effective member of the cemetery team.
