GIRL'S GYMNASTIC COACH

PAY RATE: $12.66 per hour

SCHEDULE: Part Time: 3:00 pm - 6:45 pm weekdays and varied schedule on Saturday morning (to be discussed during the interview).

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Use basic gymnastic form, flexibility and conditioning skills to teach girls: age 5 to adolescent gymnastics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Personal gymnastic experience with a strong knowledge of girls' gymnastics is preferred.
• Great customer service skills.
• Friendly personality and demeanor.
• Ability to work well with all types of youth.
• Physically strong to safely spot adolescent youth in gymnastics
• Able to help move heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety procedures.
• Perform warm-up routines.
• Create and implement lesson plan.
• Provide feedback and encouragement to students.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior.
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with enthusiasm for teaching girls through motivation and role modeling.
