Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a Assembler with 3+ years of experience in assembly within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience assembling and testing products, along with 3+ years of blueprint reading experience.

• Assembles all required products and inspects material for compliance to manufacturing specifications using work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings, and instructions.

• Sets up and operates hydraulic and hand presses.

• Uses various hand-tools, power-tools (such as pneumatic torque wrench, screwdriver, and electric drill), taps, and glues for assembling, wiring, cleaning, rustproofing, and handling filters and components.

• Inspects final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications.

• Works in other assembly support functions including but not limited to washing, testing, and performing different job tasks within the department.

• Utilizes company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status, and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required.

• Disassembles filters returned for credit, as required.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania.

There is an opening on 2nd and 3rd shift:

• 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (Sunday night start)

• Training on first shift for several months

• Starting rate $18.400/hr, progression scale; up to $21.00 by 12 months employment with good performance.

• Once transitioned to 3rd shift, eligible for $1.50/hr shift differential.
