We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Public Senior Accountant to join our team in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This role is predominantly focused on the financial services industry, demanding proficiency in various accounting software systems. As a Public Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with performing intricate accounting functions, managing both accounts payable and receivable, and conducting full cycle accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting

• Carry out comprehensive accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain balanced books

• Practice accrual accounting methods for accurate financial representation

• Operate the Viewpoint Vista system for financial management and control

• Oversee and ensure completion of the full accounting cycle

Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Public Senior Accountant or in a related role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is crucial for this position.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting procedures is a prerequisite.

• Proficiency in using Viewpoint Vista software is a plus.

• Prior experience in Full Cycle Accounting is mandatory for this role.
