WHAT YOU'LL DO

Cracker Barrel is seeking a skilled iOS Application Developer to join our dynamic team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS application to ensure it delivers the same warmth and hospitality that our physical locations are known for. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of iOS development principles and a passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly mobile experiences in a collaborative environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel iOS application.

• Work closely with designers to ensure that the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards.

• Integrate with external APIs and data sources to provide dynamic content and functionality within the app.

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Continuously monitor app performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for iOS applications.

• Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

• Understanding of app security and data protection measures.

• Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Proven working experience in iOS app development and have published at least one original iOS app.

• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.

• Experience with iOS frameworks.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
