Title: Research Associate - Protein Analytics

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Research Associate to join our Protein Analytics team. As a member of our cross-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to projects by conducting biophysical studies, analyzing data, and communicating results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and analyze binding studies and developability assays to support our various

  • therapeutic discovery platforms

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Design, develop and implement techniques for improved workflow and/or data quality

  • Prepare buffers, order/track consumables and perform routine instrument maintenance

  • when needed

    Needed upon hire:

  • B.S. in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related science

  • Interest or experience in measuring protein-protein interactions using Surface Plasmon

  • Resonance (Biacore or Carterra) or Biolayer Interferometry (Sartorius Octet) instrumentation

  • Interest or experience with biophysical techniques such as DSC, DSF and DLS and/or

  • chromatographic techniques such as SEC, IEX and HIC

  • Ability to communicate effectively and openly with colleagues, supervisors, and project

  • stakeholders

  • Ability to execute laboratory bench work in a detail-oriented, organized, and timely manner

  • Adaptable and productive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
