Dartmouth Health Program Manager Quality Operations - Value Institute in Lebanon, New Hampshire
Overview
Coordinates DH System Quality operations, including initiatives from strategy proposal development and definition of requirements, to project planning, activity and productivity reporting, program oversight, implementation and management thereof. Includes operational oversight of quality as a shared service, with oversight of operational budget performance, as well as portfolio management and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
Day-to-day operations of the System Quality program which includes but is not limited to acquisition of expertise in the project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards for assigned projects.
Oversight of system quality portfolio of services, including program progress reporting for annual strategic plan priorities and initiatives.
Coordinates Project Teams for key strategies as determined by the Chief, Director, and executive leadership team.
Implements plans for action from project teams.
Coordinates data collection for system quality improvement projects.
System Quality Meeting Administration: Has direct ownership of System Quality meeting administration process: plans, facilitates and executes meetings; creates agendas, speaker/presentation plans, surveys, minutes, and creates/distributes follow up items.
Creates and plans program communication and marketing strategies.
Maintains and adheres to project deadlines, timelines, and deliverables.
Leads quality improvement (QI)/ process improvement initiatives including compilation of project status reports. Develops and writes project process and outcome reports.
Establishes and provides oversight to budgets and resource allocation. Evaluates financial operations and health of program and makes changes as required.
Creates and maintains standard work and process documentation for all System Quality programs to ensure stability and sustainability.
Develops operational dashboard, as well as a process for documenting and providing feedback to all stakeholders involved in system quality planning and meetings.
Acts as point of contact for all external customers including marketing and communications planning.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or in a related field, with 3 years of experience
Project management experience preferred.
Formal improvement training preferred; must attain Lean Six Sigma Green belt within 18 months of hire.
Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated skills to define scope and processes.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work within a collaborative team environment; ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to a diverse community.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks at once required
Must be skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
