Dartmouth Health Associate Applications Systems Programmer Analyst (hybrid) in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Performs programming functions to assist in the development of new systems, the revision of existing systems, and to support special projects.

Responsibilities

• Programs routines from well-defined specifications.

• Develops efficient programs of minor complexity and scope.

• Presents information in a small group setting.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent required.

• Good written and verbal communication skills desired.

• Maintains an understanding of simple processes or single department needs as well as a limited understanding of the health care industry.

• Regularly demonstrates work qualities of motivation, dependability, and self-direction.

• Demonstrates a desire to learn basic application and process support and maintenance. Maintains an understanding of non-complex applications and/or processes and solves user problems.

• Applies basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Displays an ability to solve problems and think logically.

• Exercises good verbal, written and listening skills to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and internal customers.
