**[Job Summary: [As a Terry Peak Patroller, a high level of professionalism is expected. Interaction with our guests can often be very personal as patrollers assist with guest injuries at Terry Peak. The patrol must display a positive rapport with injured guests and exceptional customer service skills. Patrollers must be able to show professional authority when establishing and enforcing mountain policies with guests.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be certified or licensed in at least one of the following:

[Preferred: SD or National Registry EMT-B, OEC, or higher (paramedic, RN, PA, Nurse Practitioner, MD, etc.) [Considered: WFR, EMT student]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}

• Must hold current CPR certification.
• Patience and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Work well in, as well as contribute to a team environment.
• Must be capable of achieving essential toboggan handling ability.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

• Provide first aid and mountain rescue of injured or lost guests.
• Manage risk and provide a friendly environment for all Terry Peak guests by modeling, teaching, and enforcing the Responsibility Code and Terry Peak Mountain policies.
• Provide high-angle rescue of guests from chairlifts if necessary.
• Provide traffic and speed control.
• Professionally interact with resort guests, area employees, ambulance crews, and law enforcement personnel.
• Complete accident reports and associated paperwork.
• Act as security whenever necessary.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns and complaints.
• Place and maintain controls, fencing, and signage
• Identify, report, and mark any hazards that develop.
• Clean and provide essential maintenance for patrol rooms and areas.
• Assist Terry Peak staff members as needed.
