Warehouse Clerk / Delivery Driver

Location: Layton, UT

Pay: $20/hr

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Warehouse Driver in Layton, UT. The ideal candidate will split their time between working in the warehouse and making deliveries in an open bed truck within the Davis county area, with occasional trips to Logan or Provo. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with customers about various electrical products and supplies. Each day will bring different tasks depending on shipments and customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in the warehouse, handling various tasks related to inventory and shipping.

• Drive an open bed truck for deliveries within the Davis county area, with occasional trips to Logan or Provo.

• Communicate effectively with customers about different products.

• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

• Operate a forklift for loading and unloading materials.

• Handle order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving duties.

• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in driving, especially flatbed or box trucks.

• Proficiency in forklift operation.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience with warehouse inventory management.

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. semi-consistently.

• Clean driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.

• Skills in general labor and material handling.

• Familiarity with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes.

Shift:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Candidate must be able to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and bac kground check.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
