HVAC Technicians

Location : Fort Sill, Lawton, OK

Job Description: We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team at Fort Sill as a PERMANATE hire. Your primary role will be to repair and service HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Pay Rate:

• 2 years of experience: $22/hr plus an additional $6/hr for Health and Welfare

• 4.5+ years of experience : $23.50/hr plus an additional $6/hr for Health and Welfare

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair on hydronic and refrigeration systems, including air handling units, DX coil/condensing units, fan coil units, and variable air volume (VAV) units.

• Maintain, repair, or replace domestic and heating hot water boilers (1,000,000 BTU and below).

• Maintain, repair, or replace commercial/residential HVAC systems under 25 tons.

• Join tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units using sleeves, couplings, unions, and solder joints, forming a complete circuit for refrigerant.

• Observe pressure and vacuum gauges and adjust controls to ensure proper operation.

• Replace defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring using electrician’s hand tools and test equipment.

Essential Skills:

• EPA Universal Certification

• 2-4.5+ years of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training

Government Contract Requirements:

• Ability to pass drug and driving screenings

• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record

• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s)

Work Environment:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Minimal Overtime) CONSISTANT SCHEDULE!!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $61360.00/yr.

Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 year-round with minimal overtime.

Base Pay: $23.50 hourly plus $6.00 an hour for health and welfare

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and other coverage: employer contribution offered to cover employee-only tier. 11 paid holidays, 10 days’ vacation, 7 days sick leave
