Job Title: Electro-Mechanic

Job Description

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment such as 3 phase motors, conveyors, presses, etc. Limited PLC troubleshooting is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment.

  • Perform limited PLC troubleshooting.

  • Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

  • Maintain conveyors and other general maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Associate's degree in maintenance or equivalent military experience.

  • 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preference for candidates with military mechanics experience.

Work Environment

This large tile manufacturing facility employs around 140 people. The environment can be dusty due to tile dust, though it remains fairly clean. Some tasks require working at heights on tall equipment, including scaffolding. The facility can become very hot in the summer, especially around kilns and ovens. Steel-toe shoes are required, but shorts and cut-off t-shirts are permitted. This position is on the Press Line, which is more mechanical and dusty compared to other lines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
