Summary
The Application(s) Project Manager provides additional coordination and communication, overseeing implementation and maintenance for assigned applications, application areas, or specialized teams.
Professional Responsibilities:
Maintaining scope, schedule, and quality in their specific application area or team.
Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of a given project.
Working closely with the project director and other project managers to coordinate activities.
Ensuring that non-Epic stakeholders are engaged in the project.
Advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on issues, key success factors, and lessons learned.
Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities.
Reinforcing the importance of department initiatives and together with executives and the project director, provide consistent communication to the team.
Organizing resources within the organization.
Motivating and showing appreciation for the team.
Appropriately matching team member skills to team responsibilities.
Managing from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks.
Assisting as a support contact for their area Identifying and troubleshooting issues.
Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic (Wisconsin) software.
Serving as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic (Wisconsin) staff.
Maintaining regular communication with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives.
Working with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs including deliverables and timelines.
Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows.
Participating in training and working with end users.
Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
Owning integrated efforts that span multiple applications such as BCA, Cutover, HODs, etc.

Education and Experience:
Degree/certification in operational or clinical area of origin.
Prior project management experience, preferred.
Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.
