Position Summary Information

General Summary

TheStudent Intern – Data Analyticswill have the opportunity to work inanalytics, machine learning, data analysis and data warehouse design. Review historical data and find trends, and perform analysis based on customer requirements.

As an intern , the student will be involved in every step of the development process. S/he will be mentored to gain valuable knowledge in the field of business intelligence and analytics and be able to apply the latest technologies to provide effective business solutions.

Essential Functions

Participate as a member of the Analytics & data warehouse team in all phases of the data warehouse designing, dashboard development and analytics applications. These duties include:

· Requirements gathering and analysis

· Analysis and design

· Development

· Testing

· Implementation

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Majoring in software development focused program such as computer science or information technology

  • Successfully completed an database design course

  • Successfully completed a programming course

  • Successfully completed a software development lifecycle course

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

Completion of 2+ years college coursework towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

Additional Requirements

MS Office applications

Preferences

  • Knowledge of Python

  • Knowledge of statistics
