TAD PGS, Inc. Mechanical Design Engineer in Laurel, Maryland

We have an Excellent Contract position for aMechanical Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in theLaurel, MDsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $75.00

In this role you will build Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings of foam tiles. You will use Top-Down Design (TDD) methods to ensure all tile interfaces function as a complete system.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Possess an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.

  • Demonstrate ability using Creo Parametric CAD software.

  • Demonstrate ability with Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.

  • Demonstrate ability in modeling, drawings, tolerancing, and design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skill , both written and oral.

  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
