Note: All full-time positions include the option of $0 out-of-pocket premium cost for Employee Only PPO AND exceptionally low premiums for all other PPO coverage levels.
HOURS FOR POSITION : Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Range : $22.24-$33.36
THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE AT TOWER
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Loan Servicing Representative I position is responsible for providing effective loan servicing support to Tower’s members and for providing administrative support to the Loan Operations Unit.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Provides administrative, clerical, and related assistance to the Loan Operations unit.
Maintains and tracks loan collateral on host and mortgage system.
Provides members, staff, and other eligible related parties with information about their existing loan(s) and provide the necessary loan servicing.
Upon receipt, verifies accuracy of consumer loan documents, including vehicle loans and real estate mortgage loans.
Tracks, verifies and researches missing consumer loan collateral with members and other parties using system generated reports.
Updates the collateral records in the Summit System.
Responds both by phone and in writing regarding collateral tracking, communicating review and follow up information from Host system tracking report.
Responsible for the quality control and preparation of legal documents for release of mortgage and consumer loans based on a Paid in Full Report.
Prepares payoff statements for mortgage and consumer loans based on Summit System screen and FICS Mortgage System Inquiries for Members and Title/Escrow Companies.
Responsible for producing several loan servicing reports to include mortgage address change and collection reports. Responsible for updating FICS addresses.
Mails member correspondence and receives, sorts and delivers incoming mail and faxes. Distributes outgoing correspondence and memorandums.
Pulls mortgage and consumer loan files from the Records Retention System and actual paper files to research member and title companies’ inquires; and retrieve documents for loan sales.
Responsible for performing accurate filing and record keeping.
On an annual basis, prepares tax and insurance documents for processing, including the annual notification to members concerning Tower's insurance requirements.
The incumbent provides basic account information to members, branch personnel and other related companies. If necessary, the incumbent will refer members to appropriate lending or Tower department should additional information or services be needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school or equivalent
1 to 2 years related relevant office experience
COMPETENCIES:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Ability to create and format word processing and spread sheet documents, including graphs n
Ability to merge electronic documents
Proficiency with Windows applications
Ability to effectively read and interpret documents and procedure manuals

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without assistance.
Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate.
