Primary Responsibilities:
Managing automation scripts for configuration, backup, and restoration of RHEL and Kubernetes based environments using Terraform, Ansible, and bash/PERL/Python scripting languages.
Administration of automated release operations as well as the advancement of desired state automated CICD Pipelines using Jenkins.
Monitoring the health of Kubernetes clusters and responding to incidents
Providing support for implementation, hardening, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RHEL VMs.
Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
Ability to monitor cloud resource key metrics.
Configuring load balancing, Backup/restore and other storage-centric duties.
Configuring monitoring capabilities for Kubernetes (Prometheus, Kibana)
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a BS in Computer Science or a related field -plus 4-6 years of related experience or 3 years of additional experience in Computer Science in lieu of a degree
Must have 2 years’ experience with MS Azure, Azure Gov experience preferred
Must have at least two (2) years of experience in the implementation and technical support of multi-system Cloud and Hybrid networks, to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience administering Linux OS environments to include software patching, STIG compliance, and administering Linux VMs in Azure.
Understanding and experience with Kubernetes
Understanding of containerizing applications such as Docker
Ability to run and troubleshoot Ansible and Terraform scripts
Must have a DoD Secret or higher Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
DOD or DISA Cloud experience
Azure Cloud System/Service Certification
Technical experience and knowledge of peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing, and application messaging frameworks.
Significant experience provisioning and sustaining Cloud network infrastructures and have experience developing, operations, and managing networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.

This includes the enterprise management, planning and analysis, design and
architecture, software development, and sustainment to modernize the legacy
system architecture of the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System
(JPES), Newsgroups, and Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager (JCRM) to a
Cloud-native, open source platform.
The modernization of these legacy systems will provide next generation services in
the form of force planning, troop deployment planning, and execution
capabilities to the warfighter.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
