Description:

Summary:

Performs all types of troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, preventative maintenance and repairs. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and department policies and procedures. Works independently most of the time but will have the support of a Lead or Senior Management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for patching, taping, texturing and acoustics

  • Must be able to apply and install wall coverings, apply spackle, plaster, mix and match paint in a neat/clean, orderly and professional manner

  • Responsible for preparing and painting surfaces using paint brushes, spray guns, etc.

  • Must be able to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment as required

  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing external and internal building areas (i.e. staining and varnishing furniture, painting and repairing rooms and building structures); Perform paint touchups throughout the building as needed

  • Responsible for ensuring that safety equipment is always worn and properly fitted (i.e. respirators)

  • Complete work orders as assigned in a timely and efficient manner and document work status

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and equipment on a daily basis

  • Must be able to maintain a safe work environment at all times

  • Operate machinery and equipment as required (such as forklift)

  • Must present self in a professional, well-groomed manner at all times

  • Must maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Must be able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous experience

  • Knowledgeable in the area of paint/equipment, wall covering/repair, dry wall, tape/texture

  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Technical training certification preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate, read and write in English

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Work Cards

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • 10 Year Driving History

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs

  • Ability to push, pull objects weighing up to 100lbs

  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, and reaching

  • Walking, standing, climbing, turning, and balancing
