JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at PIPĀ®. As a Marketing Communications Specialist - Tradeshows & Events, this position will support a variety of internal and external marketing initiatives to deliver best-in-class customer engagement through trade shows and events. The Marketing Communications Specialist - Tradeshows & Events will lead all planning and execution related to events that are in alignment with larger Marketing strategy and support lead generation and brand awareness goals. This includes owning all tradeshow and event logistics from start to finish, including pre-event contract negotiation, managing relationships with show providers and vendors, on-site support and post-show lead management and content creation. This position will also serve as a crucial support role for collaborating with cross-functional internal teams to deliver effective Sales enablement programs.
Taking direction from the Director of Marketing Communications, this position will play a key role in collaborating with multiple internal departments and external entities to support the successful execution of a variety of events. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail- oriented, collaborative and creative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
YOU ARE
Organized and Detail-Oriented
Leads the coordination and execution of trade shows and events, handling logistics like booth booking, layout optimization, travel arrangements, and post-event lead management.
Manages relationships with vendors for event execution and marketing activities, identifying areas for improvement in processes.
Monitors online resources to support the Sales team, including the management of platforms such as the Trade Show Support Portal and Responsible Printing Center.
Prepares and distributes marketing budget reports and tracks usage related to events and programs.
Collaborative and Communicative
Collaborates with internal teams such as Sales and Digital Marketing to optimize lead capture and routing processes.
Works closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution of events and post-event follow-ups.
Communicates effectively to develop campaigns, create event-specific content, and provide actionable insights.
Creative and Strategic
Designs and develops marketing collateral for events, including ads, brochures, banners, and digital assets for promotions.
Creates engaging post-show content to enhance brand storytelling and boost SEO performance.
Proposes innovative strategies to improve lead generation and event effectiveness year over year.
Self-Motivated and Analytical
Takes initiative in planning, managing, and executing events in alignment with the company's marketing strategy.
Uses data analysis to suggest activities that enhance campaign outcomes and lead generation.
Implements and tracks improvements in program execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business goals.
Technical and Adaptable
Utilizes digital marketing tools and platforms like HubSpot, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Shows a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in marketing trends.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the safety and PPE product market, with the ability to integrate knowledge into event planning and marketing efforts.
