Description

We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Tax Preparer, your primary responsibility will be to prepare federal and state tax returns for various entities, monitor client accounts, and assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and exempt organizations

• Use Lacerte or similar tax return preparation software to streamline tax preparation process

• Assist in compiling financial statements, reviews, and audits

• Monitor client accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Handle complex tax return situations and provide solutions

• Conduct bank reconciliations, payroll, and bill paying tasks for clients

• Prepare various types of tax returns including income tax, individual tax, multi-state tax, partnership tax, franchise tax, corporate tax, and federal income tax

• Maintain a disciplined and self-directed work approach while ensuring meticulousness.

Requirements

• EA or CPA required

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Tax Preparer in the detail-oriented Services industry

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software

• Demonstrable experience in preparing complex tax returns

• Proven expertise in handling income tax returns

• Proficiency in preparing individual tax returns

• Experience in preparing multi-state tax returns is essential

• Prior experience in handling partnership tax returns

• Familiarity with franchise tax return preparation

• Experience in preparing federal tax returns

• Expertise in corporate tax return preparation

• Proven ability to prepare federal income tax returns

• Experience in preparing trust tax returns
