Description:
Summary:Provide courteous and prompt guest service, change, jackpot, ticket voucher fill, ticket voucher redemption, and minor machine repairs. Safeguard company assets. Create an atmosphere of excitement on the casino floor that is compelling for all guests.
Essential Functions:
Monitor assigned section(s) efficiently and timely while providing excellent guest service
Proactively assist customers by continually searching for service lights and customers in need of service
Keep assigned section in a neat, clean and orderly fashion, including but not limited to, pushing in unoccupied chairs, removing glasses and trash from the tops of machines and emptying ashtrays
Refill printer vouchers, and makes minor machine repairs as necessary
Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental guidelines
Build and maintain proper rapport with customers by handling disputes, maintaining a positive attitude, engaging costumers, and communicating special promotions and property products
Enter jackpot data information in the computer system accurately
Maintain an assigned currency bank impress
Check all monies received for counterfeit currency
Communicate with staff via radio to ensure efficiency in guest service
Work calmly and professionally in busy work environment while effectively multi-tasking
Coordinate with Casino Operations supervisors and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage gaming equipment
Notify Slot Operations management team of any floor irregularities
Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements:
Six months previous experience in same or similar role preferred
Must possess previous experience of being heavily involved in guest interaction
21 years of age or older
Ability to learn and retain working knowledge of the various slot/video games and equipment found on the casino floor
Ability to learn and retain working knowledge of all documentation required in transactions including jackpots, ticket voucher redemptions, title 31, dispatch logs, machine entries, and machine repairs
Ability to operate equipment such as an adding machine, computer, two-way radios and handheld voucher scanners
Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Accurate money handling and documentation skills
Excellent guest service skills emphasizing being friendly and helpful
Present a professional appearance
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements
Continuously walking and/or standing and working indoors (more than 75% of the time)
Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 40 lbs
Bending, kneeling, climbing and using chemical agents (up to approx 25% of the time)
Hearing, vision (including peripheral), speech and literacy (critical)
Ability to work in a smoky, noisy environment with bright lights, some dust, & hot and cold temperatures
Ability to communicate vocally utilizing portable radios and telephones (critical)
