Description:

Summary:

Ensures exceptional guest service is provided to guests at all times and handles all elevated complaints or concerns. Oversees the restaurant operation during the absence of the manager. Assist in seating, keeping the outlet clean, and preparing the outlet for service. Follow pre-determined service standards to ensure a positive guest dining experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Monitors staff to ensure outstanding guest service is being provided to guest and handles any guest concerns or complaints

  • Handles escalated guest issues and employee relations

  • Work with minimal supervision

  • Inspect tables and stations, ensuring that all set ups meet the department standards. Check throughout meal period. Relay deficiencies to respective personnel and follow up on corrections

  • Maintains complete knowledge of POS and manual systems

  • Ensures all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards

  • Inspect the restaurant to ensure all cleanliness standards are being maintained at all times

  • Handles all voided checks in accordance with accounting procedures, assists servers with expediting problem payments and handles all other cashiering issues

  • Maintains complete knowledge and comply with all Departmental policies, procedures and service standards

  • Conduct start of shift meetings with staff to review standards and procedures

  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner and demonstrate the I CARE Culture to both guests and fellow team members

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year previous experience performing same or similar job duties

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred

  • Previous experience exercising sound judgment when dealing with difficult guest situations

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, hectic environment

  • Accurate money handling and documentation skills

  • Present a professional appearance

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 lbs

  • Walking or standing up to 100% of the time, including movement on slippery and/or narrow surfaces

  • Working inside in a noisy, smoky, and hot or cold environment

  • Frequently standing, walking, bend, reach, squat, kneel, sit

  • Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguishing between shades of color, and using tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
