Job Summary:

The Medical Report Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and consistency of medical expert reports across multiple therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will meticulously review and evaluate medical reports to ensure they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review medical expert reports related to orthopedic, spine, and pain management cases for accuracy, comprehensiveness, and consistency.

Verify the completeness of medical information, including patient history, diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and prognoses.

Assess the clarity and coherence of medical terminology, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations within the reports.

Identify any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in the medical reports and collaborate with medical experts and authors to address and resolve them.

Ensure adherence to established quality assurance protocols, regulatory guidelines, and best practices in medical report documentation.

Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to authors and stakeholders to enhance the overall quality and reliability of medical reports.

Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities, findings, and outcomes for reporting and analysis purposes.

Stay abreast of developments in medical research, technology, and regulatory requirements relevant to orthopedic, spine, and pain management specialties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Health Information Management, Biology, or related discipline). Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in reviewing and analyzing medical reports.

Strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements in relevant therapeutic areas.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in medical documentation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical experts, authors, and interdisciplinary teams.
