Revolution Foods Grill Team - Production Associate in Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Summary:

Responsible for routine production, assembly line and packaging tasks. Assists with the overall efficiency of the factory which may include setup, startup, staging raw materials, assembly, production, loading, labeling, stacking, sorting, preparing for shipping, and other miscellaneous routine tasks. Helps keep the production and warehouse areas organized, neat and clean. Positions may work full time or part time, on various days and shifts, as needed. This position also serves as a server and grill team member. This position goes out to the schools based off school orders and grills cheeseburgers/Hot dogs at the site of the school. The quantities vary depending on the school site but this position must grill (re-heat the pre-cooked meats) so that they are ready to serve during lunch serving times. Employee represents the company at the school sites and has to travel with our company drivers to get to the campuses. Can be 5 days of the week or even none. Depending on the demand. However, when the employee isn’t out on the field at a site, the employee stays and helps on the production floor as responsibilities stated above.

Required Qualifications:

· Tasks may be routine and repetitive within any of the food production or warehouse departments.

· Able to work various schedules as start times can vary depending on the school site requiring the grill day

· Employee must be able to handle serving duties and responsibilities

· Maintain a positive attitude to our external stakeholders; and having constant communication with their manager/supervisor

· Follows simple recipes and instructions to prep, cut, chop, slice, assemble, stock, sort, stage and process products, raw materials, and meals in all operational areas.

· Work within the departments of assembly, prep, ovens, beverage, fulfillment and pack-out – all are considered production and can be used to support in any/all areas from time to time or business needs required

· Need to keep the pace of the entire team and flow in general of the production staff to meet specific requirements and KPI’s

· May be required to rack products, unbox materials, assemble food products and meals, break down boxes and containers.

· Pushing, pulling, carrying, scooping, bending, and standing/walking are all consistent and constant within the workday.

· Need to be able to carry 40-50lbs routinely

· Will participate in change overs, washing down lines, sanitizing workspaces, assisting with monthly inventory counts, sorting, staging,

· Maintain a food safe environment, complying with State, Federal and Revolution Foods food safety policies.

· Ensure the garbage and recycling is disposed of daily and the receptacles are cleaned and sanitized. Support our “Green Waste” program ensuring all waste is separated.

· Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices by maintaining a clean, organized, hazardous free workstation. Keeps the work area clean and sanitary.

· Observes a safety-first environment, free of hazards to include a dry floor, proper floor drain coverage and proper knife or equipment use and storage.

· Establish a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, and effective communication with all team members.

· Performs other duties as needed.

· Entry level position. Previous experience in a fast-paced fresh food handling environment is preferred

· Work is in a chilled environment 50 degrees and below

· Working as part of a team to achieve results

· Good attendance and punctuality is required and will be monitored closely, the company follows a point system that is used to base evaluation, probation period, and disciplinary actions as needed

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Ability to Read, Write and Speak basic English.

· Serve-Safe Handler preferred

· Experience of 1 year working in a location where grilling is required

· Knowledge of safe and proper food handling procedures and knife handling is preferred.

· Ability to routinely work in a chilled, damp factory environment, as well as wet and hot locations on school grounds; could be outside or in a enclosed environment

· Able to physically perform requirements of job and lift up between 40-50 pounds.

· Able to work well with others and participate as part of a team using good verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices helpful

· Able to work a flexible schedule, covering varied shifts.

Working Conditions: Work is within a factory setting, with chilled temperatures Exposed to wet, damp, and cold conditions. Conditions can also be hot and dry, or raining due to set up location that schools require. Also, employee must travel with company driver to get to the school sites – may have to sit for a prolonged period of time next other employees to get to the location of site. All Preventive Protective Equipment is provided.

· Prolonged standing and walking is routinely required.

· Must maintain a steady and consistent work flow that’s set by company standards and requirements

· Routinely lifts and carries objects weighing between 40-50 pounds.

· Routinely required to stand, walk, bend, carry, crouch, grasp, hold, kneel, lift, push/pull, reach, sit, squat, stand, stoop, stretch, turn, twist, talk, listen and communicate with others.

Base hourly compensation range:

$14.94 – 15.00-16.00
