SHS-CONTRACT ANALYST SENIOR

Job Description
General Purpose of Job:
This position is responsible for the overall management of University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) contract review and tracking system, including, but not limited to preparing, examining, analyzing, amending, and otherwise processing contracts using defined templates. This position functions as an integral part of the Regional OGC team and job responsibilities include supporting contract review and other projects for the Region.

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Team Members may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
- Manage contracts within the Contract Lifecycle Management System or other system, including,
- Ensuring that there is a detailed and organized audit file for each contract which includes original contract, all correspondence, amendments, and corporate required documents.
- Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency in the Contract Lifecycle Management System or other system to manage contracts and to produce and effectively use reports based upon data elements captured in the CLM, including tracking approvals and termination dates.
- Audit data entered the Contract Lifecycle Management System or other system by other users.
- Educate users of the Contract Lifecycle Management System on how to properly upload contracts and enter data.
- Draft, review, edit, and negotiate contracts utilizing approved templates.
- Respond to questions regarding contracting process from business owners and conduct contract management training on an individual or group basis.
- Maintain contract management forms and educational materials, as applicable
- Compile frequently asked questions and maintain as a document on UMH-Sparrow intranet
- Complete ad-hoc special projects
- Identify, make recommendations for and implement approved process improvements in reporting analysis and system capabilities.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of department processes, protocols, and procedures, pursuing self-directed learning and continuing education opportunities, and participating on committees, task forces, and work groups as determined by management.
- Coordinate with board administrators and file corporate reports.
