Our client is looking for a Project Manager with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Tasks

• The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and how the IT components interact via network communications. (Firewall, VIP, F5 Listener, Port, etc.)
• Assist in evaluating technical requirements and propose solutions that meet business objectives while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• This position provides oversight, leadership, accountability, and project management functions for one or more large size, complex projects.
• These projects typically utilize vendor participation and require complex schedules and integration with other systems.
• Large sized projects typically have durations longer than 6 months with 20 or more team members, require communication at the Agency Leadership level and have a medium to high risk.
• Ensure consistency with the project management methodology (SUITE), investment management and systems engineering methodology.
• Perform long-term release planning based on organizational direction.
• Regularly interact with the project management teams for status of budget, quality, and schedule.
• Escalate issues and risks as needed to executives and exercise project quality control activities to ensure project scope expectations are met.

NOTE: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission. NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. The position will be hybrid work schedule with 2 days a week onsite (Wednesdays being mandatory). 2nd Round if required will be held In-person.
