The Library Technical Services Lead serves as the authority for cataloging all library monographs and serial publications, and oversees the borrowing and lending of materials through MeLCat and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) resource sharing services. This position also manages and checks-in the library's standing order subscriptions and EBSCO serial subscriptions in Sierra; collects, compiles, and records statistics including electronic database usage statistics, technical services and systems statistics, and resource sharing statistics. In addition, this position serves as a resource and provides technical guidance and input for collection management for librarian liaisons, Center for Teaching Excellence, and Learning Commons. Works with colleagues and departments to ensure successful access to all collections for the LCC community. Continues to analyze and improve cataloging processes, records, and workflows. Further, this position provides technical guidance to staff and students, and also trains and oversees the technical services student employees.
