Kelly Services Administrative Support - K-12 Operations in Lansing, Michigan

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the educational sector? Join our dynamic team at Kelly Services as a Support Specialist for K-12 Operations! We are seeking a motivated individual to provide comprehensive support for our operations and events, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare documents, set up rooms, make calls, distribute surveys, and organize event spaces.

  • Provide support for dual credit programming and scholarship processes by managing files and entering data into databases.

  • Utilize office equipment (fax machine, scanner, copier, phone systems) and computers for various applications (spreadsheets, word processing, database management).

  • Maintain correspondence, create/edit documents and reports, enter data, set up files, make copies, scan, and distribute documents.

  • Handle inquiries and support the organization and distribution of books to enrolled students.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Effective listening and communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Ability to use judgment, tact, and adhere to procedures in various scenarios.

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Data gathering and sorting capabilities.

  • Ability to create a collaborative environment and maintain student confidentiality (FERPA guidelines).

  • Experience working effectively within a diverse community.

Required Education and Experience:

Education: Associate's degree in a business area OR a high school diploma with at least 2 years of data entry experience.
