Mancino is seeking a highly organized shipping manager to oversee our company's shipping / receiving operations. You will be processing shipment orders, monitoring the packaging and labeling of completed orders, and evaluating the performance of carriers and shipment department employees.

Responsibilities include:The shipping supervisor will need a full knowledge of shipping terms, understanding of carrier routes plus shipping dimensions as far as min/max package sizes.

Oversight of all Shipping and Receiving Duties and Paperwork

Managing raw material and finished goods inventory

Managing 4-6 Shipping Department Employees

Training Shipping Team to properly prepare/package products for transport

Creating online BOLs for daily shipping and inspecting completed orders

Creating and implementing shipping policies and procedures

Negotiating with present and future carriers for best service at best rates

Communicating with Operations Manager and on daily goals

Collaborating with internal departments to optimize order and shipping flow

Primary Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar preferred.

More than five years' experience in the shipping industry.

Proficiency in electronic shipping software and BOL creation.

In-depth knowledge of logistics and shipping documentation.

Knowledge of shipping industry regulations.

Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

Must have experience with warehouse operations and safety practices

Must be forklift certified

*Must *be "hands on" with shipping team -- this is not an office job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.88 - $32.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
