DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Corrections Utility Plant Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing an inmate work crew and performing tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of a boiler plant. Duties include reading and interpreting gauges, meters, and sensing devices, as well as cleaning and maintaining equipment. You will perform work independently while analyzing problems and providing appropriate solutions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40-hour work week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary.

Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a steam or hot water generating plant, or a steam and electric generating plant; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
